Sailor Moon and her Inner Senshi

I wanted to do a tribute piece of fanart for Sailor Moon.

Many years ago it was the show that get me into Anime/Manga and drawing in the style I do today. I used to draw so much Sailor Moon fanart and feeling nostalgic with the release of Sailor Moon Crystal I wanted to draw some more.

I used the piece to experiment with a slightly different colouring style than I usually do. I wanted a more textured "Disney Concept Art" kind of feel to it, you can get the brushes from the link. The Nebula in the background was also a natural thing to add as I wanted to experiment with blending the colours with the textured brushes I was using. Those stars were killer on my hand. I might at one point make these into keyrings to sell if I ever get to take the comic I'm working on to a convention.

I have certainly come along way since I first started drawing Sailor Moon.
