Ritz Malheur

I’m really pleased with how this turned out, and I really enjoyed working on it. Ritz wasn't my first character choice she was infact my third. I've also not played on Final Fantasy Tactics Advance but after researching the remaining characters I liked her character design the most. Her character design, although complicated, is really lovely. I know that she doesn't actually use the staff in the game, however it has such such an interesting design I wanted to draw it. It also meant I could experiment with a different type of pose to ones I normally draw. 

I did this mainly digitally, and started with a rough pencil sketch for the pose and dress. I then took it into Photoshop fixed the bits I didn't like and then went crazy adding all the detail. From there I inked it, and refined parts I wasn't happy with even more. I then added the colours. I wanted a fairly loose painting style, as I'm normally really neat and worry about blending. I might start working like this more often. 

I'm looking forwards to seeing all the characters from the collab together!
