Born from the Flames

This is another concept piece of artwork for my manga. It's the main character Alecks Ayers transforming into her Deity form. Unfortunatly the picture is majourly cropped because it was too large to fit into an A4 scanner so my dad had to take a photo of it with his digital camera. So she's missing the top of her wings, some stuff around the sides and there's a bit missing at the bottom too.

This drawing came about after looking through my Yoshitaka Amano Final Fantasy artwork book. It's probably hard to see how he inspired me but the main one was that I used water colour which I rarely do.

Drawn in pencil, coloured in water colours (I hate water colours), and touched up with photoshop 7. It was also framed and displayed in the lounge of my flat at uni.
